I joined Noble Solicitors in January 2018 as a Solicitor in the Firm’s Family/Childcare Department.

I studied Law and obtained a 2:1 in my LLB honours degree. I undertook my Legal Practice Course at The College of Law in Guildford. Prior to joining Noble Solicitors, I worked as a paralegal in a High Street firm for two years and I then undertook my training contract in a London firm.

I was admitted as a Solicitor in 2012 and I have over 5 years post qualified experience in Family and Children Act matters.

I specialise in law relating to children and I have a particular emphasis in public law proceedings.

I specialise in complex and protracted care cases on issues involving serious non-accidental injury, sexual abuse, neglect and failure to protect from harm.

I enjoy working on cases with an international aspect and most recently acted for a Hungarian client where we successfully argued that the matter be transferred to Hungary under Article 15 of Brussels II Revised, as the children had family ties in Hungary and the maternal grandmother was successfully assessed by Hungarian nationals to meet the children’s needs.

I am interested in publicly funded work, as I have always wished to assist people most in need and vulnerable members of society.

I have represented parents with difficulties ranging from mental health issues, chronic drugs and alcohol addiction to those with learning difficulties and disabilities.

I have advised and represented parents at the pre- proceedings stage both child protection conferences and PLO meetings. This allows me to assist in preventing Care Proceedings being issued through assisting clients in addressing concerns. I also have experience in representing clients through the Official Solicitor.

I am a keen advocate and to give my client’s continuity during the course of their case as and when I can I represent them at Court hearings.

I have also represented parents on applications for Child Arrangement Orders including enforcement proceedings, prohibited steps and specific issue orders as well as acting for clients in undefended divorces.

I have also represented grandparents and other family members on applications for Special Guardianship Orders.

I speak fluent Potwari and I understands basic Urdu and Hindi for those clients that struggle to communicate in English. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
