Janaya Campbell

Education: 

Janaya read law at the University of Hertfordshire (LLB Hons) with an Upper Second Class Honours 2:1. Janaya received a Merit overall for her Legal Practice Course and Master of Laws Degree all awarded by BPP London.

Janaya’s childcare law experience comes from several years of working as a Paralegal at Local Authorities.

Janaya has conducted her own caseload as well as supporting lawyers in her team with theirs.

Janaya undertakes Public Law Outline (‘PLO’) meetings, which involves representing clients who have the local authority involved with their child(ren) reach an agreement so that public law proceedings can be avoided. Janaya has been successful on many occasions avoiding matters progressing to court.

Janaya has also provided legal advice on Special Guardianship Orders.

Criminal Law

Janaya is currently a Trainee in the Crown Court Department. She assists in the preparation of serious cases impending trial.
