Conviction Appeal
If you find yourself subject to a conviction or sentence and you feel that you may have grounds to appeal against either, we have an appeals department dedicated to taking on such matters, whether we dealt with your original case or not.
Conviction Appeal
Common grounds of appeal against conviction considered by the Court of Appeal are: Procedural Impropriety – such as a misdirection by the Judge to a Jury; Fresh Evidence – new information not available at the time of your original Trial; which are capable of rendering your conviction ‘unsafe’ (s.2 Criminal Appeal Act 1965).
We consider your case in line with these grounds and advise as to whether in our opinion you have reasonable prospects of a successful conviction appeal.
Our conviction appeal team are always on hand to offer advice and provide assistance.
