Summary: Alex is a member of the Crown Court Litigators team and works on a variety of Criminal cases. He first joined Noble Solicitors in 2009 and worked in the Criminal Appeals department before moving into the Crown team in 2013.

Summary:

Alex works as a litigator within the firm’s Crown Court department. He returned to Noble Solicitors in November 2015 having first joined the firm in 2009. Alex initially worked in the Criminal Appeals department and also assisted with prison law matters. Alex then jointed the Crown Court department in 2013.  

Alex works closely with counsel on a large range of criminal matters including serious assaults ranging from Murder to ABH, serious sex offences, drug offences, child neglect, dishonesty offences and more.

R v MH – prepared the case over a 2 ½ year period for a defendant convicted of murder in 2008. The case was heard by the Court of Appeal and involved detailed submissions on the defence of provocation.

R V MA – prepared the case over a 2 year period for a defendant convicted of s18. The case involved instructing several experts to examine whether the client should have been made subject to a hospital order rather than a sentence of imprisonment for public protection.   

R v HR – assisted in preparing the case before the Parole Board for a high profile offender convicted of 3 x murder in 1966. Client was successfully released on licence after spending over 48 years in custody.

R v AP – male charged with s18 GBH. Client was successfully acquitted at Luton Crown Court in 2016.
