Summary: I obtained a 2:1 law degree from Nottingham Trent University in 2007. I was Called to the Bar in 2008 after achieving a grade of Very Competent on the Bar Vocational Course.
I am a caseworker in the Magistrates Court Department.
Expertise: From April 2009 to May 2010 I worked as a Caseworker in the criminal department for a busy high street firm, working on both Magistrates and Crown Court cases.
In addition I was previously employed as an In-house Advocate representing clients on a regular basis in the county courts, family courts and employment tribunals. My caseload covered a wide range of areas including; matrimonial, children, employment, enforcement proceedings and contentious probate.
Personal: I am a keen runner and previously competed in the Nottingham Half Marathon and Sheffield Race for Life. I enjoy most sports, having played netball for my county and later in a local league.
In October 2010 I backpacked around Thailand, Cambodia and Singapore before a period of living and working in Australia. In the future I would love to travel around South America and practice my conversational Spanish.
