We are able to provide legal advice if they are facing disciplinary proceedings because of alleged discipline offences during their sentence covering the following:

• Nature and seriousness of the disciplinary offences
• Adjudication procedure
• Potential Punishments

We are able to represent at prison disciplinary hearings where the potential penalty is the award of additional days in custody as a punishment for breaches of prison rules.

If they wish to appeal the result of disciplinary proceedings, then we are able to provide advice and assistance on the lodging of appeal with the Prison Service Headquarters and if necessary, challenge the decision through the Prison Ombudsman or by application to the High Court for a Judicial Review.
