Liquor Licensing Hearings
Many changes have taken place in relation to the licensing of Pubs, Clubs and Individuals who are involved in the sale and supply of alcohol. Premises licences and licences for individuals are now separate following the Licensing Act 2003. The responsibility for licences also transferred from the Magistrates Court to the Local Authority.
We act for a large number of publicans through the Licensed Victulars Association of Luton. We acted for a large number of premises and individuals when the changes took place and continue to advise clients about their business and licensing law commitments.
Criminal, as well as regulatory, offences can be connected to this line of work. A failure to comply with licensing legislation can result in your livelihood being lost and being barred from working in the Licensing trade.
We can advise on all areas of licensing law, appeals to the local authority against the refusal of a licence or changes to your licence.
