Overview
At Noble Solicitors we understand that contacting a solicitor can be daunting for many reasons the main concern is money and affordability.
How much will a solicitor charge me? Am I entitled to legal aid?
Below is a brief outline for private client and publicly funded clients.
Private Clients
Before you instruct Noble Solicitors a member of our team will go through with you our charges and any possible disbursements costs which you may incur during the duration of your case.
We will explain to you how we calculate our fees and will provide you with an estimated breakdown of those costs including disbursements.
Disbursements are often incurred when a solicitor requires items such as court documents, expert reports and similar. These disbursements are paid for straight away and we will instruct and do so on your behalf.
When instructing our litigation team you will be advised that your costs maybe recovered from the opposite side if you win your case.
Public Funding
Noble Solicitors carries out publicly funded work (also known as Legal Aid) in several of our departments.
Publicly funded work is financed by the Legal Services Commission (LSC). This scheme is aimed to help those that are unemployed, on benefits or earn under a certain amount of income to obtain legal representation and advice – subject to means testing.
If you would like to speak to a member of our team on where you stand regarding your legal rights or have worries about funding please contact a fee earner at an office nearest to you by clicking here.
