Mental Health
Mental health law can potentially have a devastating affect on your personal life and we understand that you may have significant concerns arising from this. If your life is affected in any way by mental health law, you should contact us for free legal advice.
We can help you whether you are a detained patient, informal / voluntary patient, if you have come into hospital on a hospital order from either a court or prison or whether you are in the community on a treatment order. Additionally, we can also help a relative or a concerned friend of anyone who is affected in any way by mental health law.
We provide free legal representation to help you to speak to doctors, social workers and nursing staff amongst others involved in your care. The help we offer includes, amongst other things the following:
Our mental health department has been in operation since 2002. In that time we have successfully helped many people who have been affected by mental health law. Please contact us if you wish to be made aware of your human rights as a person affected by mental health law. If you are under any section of the Mental Health Act, for example, Section 2, Section 3, Section 37 we are experts in advising you of your rights. If you are an elderly patient suffering with Alzheimer or Dementia or if your doctor says you have the following examples of diagnosis; Drug Induced Psychosis, Depression, Bipolar Affective Disorder, Aspergers Syndrome, Schizophrenia, Personality disorder, Mood disorder or Stress related disorders or if you have been diagnosed at being at risk of Suicide, Self harm or Self neglect, please contact us in order to find out in which way we can assist you in overcoming any of these crisis.
